Are you looking for a best friend? Well, so am I! I have so much love to give. I'm a Shepherd/Border Collie/Who-knows-what-else mix who has a huge heart. I get along great with other dogs and love to play with them, but I also really love humans.
If you pet me, I will snuggle into your body or flop on my back for a belly rub. I can be a bit silly sometimes and love to splash around in my water dish... although I think the pool is even more fun! I also love to play and toss my toys around in the air. And I just adore going for car rides!
I've had some obedience training... I'm a fast learner and want to please. But I also need to be placed with an EXPERIENCED dog owner who is willing to continue to work with me as I have a couple of issues that are can be easily solved if my owner is strong. I'm not sure I would be very happy with a family that is gone or leaves me in the yard a lot. I just want to hang out with someone.
My ideal home is with a single person or couple who really want to make me a part of their lives. I'm great with everyone... even kids... but I need someone who is a pack leader (so very young children will not be best). Please won't you give me the chance to love you?
