    McKenna has been volunteering with us for a short amount of time but her help has made a long-term impact on our dogs. As an Animal Care Attendant, McKenna helps New Leash On Life staff with various tasks such as walking, feeding, and playing with our rescue dogs.

    Q: How long have you been volunteering with New Leash On Life?

    A: 3 weeks.

     

    Q: What is your favorite aspect of volunteering with us?

    A: I love being able to walk, play, and feed the dogs. I spend some extra time with them one-on-one because they are so loving.

     

    Q: What motivated you to volunteer and why did you choose New Leash?

    A: I chose New Leash because I’ve always had a passion for animals, especially dogs. I would take them all home if I could.

     

    Q: How has New Leash On Life helped with your school or career goals?

    A: I have always wanted to work with dogs and this is the perfect experience for me.

     

    Q: Do you have a favorite memory/moment from volunteering with us?

    A: My favorite memories are one-on-one times with all of the dogs I am around.
