    Sunday July 31st, 2016

UPDATE: As of 7/30/16, New Leash On Life Rescue Foundation has returned to its facility and is back to business as usual.

    Saturday July 23rd, 2016

New Leash On Life Rescue Foundation evacuated their 13 acre facility on Placerita Cyn Rd on Saturday by mandatory order of the LA County FD.

All 34 dogs were relocated safely to Hart High School, P4 in Newhall and we continue to provide the highest level of care for them as our top priority. They are healthy, happy and receive an abundance of attention and love.

As of this release a section of Placerita Cyn Rd where our facility is located remains closed with a low level of containment. At this time return to our facility is undetermined and the condition of the property at present and after containment is uncertain.

The generous outreach and support from the community and beyond has been tremendous and we are grateful for all the help and assistance from individuals, merchants, Hart High School and the American Red Cross who have established a shelter for displaced families at the same location. Our support and best wishes are dedicated to the combined effort of all agencies involved in fighting this monster fire with selfless heroism and endless determination. Our dogs salute you!
